We are looking for a skilled ELV Installer and Driver to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for electrical systems, hands-on installation work, and a commitment to quality workmanship, we would love to hear from you.

The selected candidate will assist in the wiring, installation, configuration, and maintenance of ELV systems, ensuring all work meets the required standards and client expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Install Electrical Low Voltage (ELV) wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards, as directed by the supervisor.

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, and related equipment.

Read and interpret installation plans, technical drawings, and schematics, carrying out work accordingly.

Ensure that all conduit and wire runs and installations meet expected quality standards.

Assist the Lead Technician with installations and provide support to Network Technicians as required.

Carry out general site preparation and assist with project setup.

Travel to customer homes and business premises to perform installations and maintenance work.

Complete installation reports and related paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain proper tool management standards and ensure equipment is handled safely.

Operate a cherry picker machine for maintenance, repair, and installation work at height.

Inspect the cherry picker regularly for defects and ensure all related documentation is up to date.

Report any damage, wear, or defects to supervisors immediately.

Assist with additional tasks as required, including loading and unloading delivery trucks.

Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements & Competencies

Proven experience in ELV installations or a similar electrical role.

Relevant technical qualifications in electrical or ELV systems.

Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring practices, and safety regulations.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot faults effectively.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Valid Driving Licence B & C.

Basic First Aid training.

Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
